Service and Repair FAQ
Q. Do you work on all types of bikes?
A. We work on most brands and models of bikes with a few exceptions. We do not work on tandems (too large for our workspace), gas powered bikes (safety reasons), recumbents (too large for our workspace), homemade or converted e bikes or bikes with modified frames or forks. We will work on some department store bikes but tend to avoid due to the cost of repairs/parts vs. cost of the bikes.
Q. Do you come to Buena Vista/Nathrop to service bikes?
A. We are available for appointments in Buena Vista on Fridays and some Sundays. Buena Vista/Nathrop service calls have a $40.00 mobile charge and a $125 minimum service charge. You can always drop off with us in Poncha Springs and save some money. See below.
Q. Can I drop off my bikes with you and pick them up when completed?
A. Yes. Just call or text to set up a good time to come by.
Q. Do you work outside the area such as Colorado Springs?
A. Yes. We are available to come to you where you are. If out of our area the minimum service call is $500 with a $60.00 mobile charge. This works well if you have several bikes in the family that need work or gather a few friends and split up the cost. We love coming out to the Front Range to work. Friday and Sunday work best for us.
Q. Is your work guaranteed?
A. Yes! We offer a 60-day guarantee on all work. There are some exceptions such as flat tires, crash damage, and other things out of our control but we're easy to work with.
